Greetings everyone, both new and old followers!

I'm excited to announce that we are rebranding and transitioning from Precious Bakes & More to our new name, Menu 229. This change is deeply personal and reflects the journey that has shaped my business.

I'm Precious, and I'm originally from Americus, Georgia, in the 229 area code. The number 229 holds a special place in my heart; it was the address of my grandmother's (and now my mother's) home, where they taught me the art of baking and cooking. As a military spouse, I've moved across the country and the world—from Georgia to Germany, Hawaii, Texas, and now Iowa. No matter where I go, 229 represents a piece of home that travels with me.

My friends and family call me a "Jill of all trades" I'd like to confirm that I master them all. I'm blessed to be able to follow my passion wherever I land. I've spent years searching for a way to bring all my skills under one unique business umbrella, and I've finally found it.

   * Cookie Corner: Cookies and shipping options.

   * Cobbler Central: Delicious cobblers.

   * Pie Place: Assorted pies.

At Menu 229, we're bringing you baking, catering, and meal prep—all under one roof. Consider us an international stop for your tastebuds; you choose the road, and we'll handle the rest. We can't wait to serve you!

 

Fun Facts:

I'm a proud southerner from Ga. A multifaceted entrepreneur with 18 years of happy marriage and two amazing sons.  My wonderful husband has a career and still helps to support mine. 

My love for food runs deep—especially for turnip greens, field peas & rice, blackberry cobblers, and chocolate cake with strawberries.

For me, business is personal. I take immense pride in delivering exceptional customer service and crafting delicious, high-quality food. I believe that every plate and every dessert should be a memorable experience.
